Pine Tar Soap

A 5 oz handmade cold-process soap with pine tar and black seeds. The bar's rich brown and caramel pattern, natural texture, and seed placement will vary because every batch is poured and cut by hand. Pine tar is traditionally used in cleansing bars made for dry, rough-feeling skin; this is a cosmetic soap and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any skin condition.

A smoky, resinous pine-tar base brightened by rosemary, peppermint, and lemon, with earthy patchouli, cedarwood, and tea tree. Scented only with essential oils—no fragrance oil is added.

Wet the bar and work into a lather with your hands, washcloth, or soap saver. Massage gently over the skin and rinse thoroughly. Because the black seeds add texture, avoid aggressive scrubbing and do not use on the face, broken, or irritated skin. Allow the bar to dry completely between uses. For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. Patch test before first use and discontinue if irritation occurs.
